Partner Program Terms

These Terms govern your participation in the Adam Loves Guitar Partner Program (the “Program”), operated by Adam Loves Guitar (“we,” “us,” “ALG”). By joining, submitting the partner form, or promoting ALG through a partner link or page, you (“Partner,” “you”) agree to these Terms. They apply to all partners — music stores, creators, teachers, communities, and affiliates alike.

1.Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for having a valid free Whop account, which is how commissions are tracked and paid. You provide accurate information about yourself and your business or audience.

2.How the partnership works

• We create a co-branded page for you at adamlovesguitar.com/partners/<your-name> and give you share links and marketing assets.
• Your Whop affiliate account is credited automatically on qualifying sales that come through your page or links.
• We provide the courses, the checkout, customer delivery, and all customer support.

3.Commissions

• You earn a 30% commission on qualifying course sales referred through your page or links.
• Academy memberships pay 30% recurring for as long as the referred member remains subscribed.
• Customer pricing is set by us (special partner/collab pricing at the plan level). The Program does not use discount codes.
• Commission rates and offers may be updated prospectively; changes do not affect commissions already earned.

4.Tracking & attribution

Sales are tracked through Whop using your affiliate account. It is your responsibility to keep your Whop ID/username unchanged once you've submitted it to us — changing it can break commission tracking. We are not liable for commissions lost due to a changed username, ad-blockers, or a customer bypassing your link.

5.Payments

• Commissions are calculated, held, and paid out by Whop directly to you — we do not invoice or pay you separately.
• Funds are subject to a hold period (typically 30 days) that covers the customer money-back window, after which you may withdraw to your payout method.
• You are solely responsible for any taxes owed on your commissions.

6.Refunds & chargebacks

Every course carries a money-back guarantee. If a referred sale is refunded, disputed, or charged back, the related commission is reversed. The hold period is designed so reversals do not claw back funds already withdrawn.

7.Your responsibilities

• Represent ALG and Adam Levine truthfully. Do not make false, exaggerated, or misleading claims, guarantees of results, or unauthorized statements.
• Clearly disclose your partner/affiliate relationship where required by law (for example, FTC endorsement rules).
• Do not use spam, misleading subject lines, fake reviews, cookie-stuffing, trademark bidding on ALG or Adam Levine terms, or any deceptive or unlawful practice.
• Only use the names, logos, images, and copy we provide or approve, and only to promote the Program.

8.Brand & intellectual property

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use ALG and Adam Levine names and provided marketing materials solely to promote the Program while these Terms are in effect. All course content, trademarks, and materials remain our property. This license ends when your participation ends.

9.Store exclusivity

For physical music/guitar stores, we may offer area exclusivity as described during onboarding. Any such exclusivity is at our discretion, is conditioned on active participation, and may be adjusted if a partnership becomes inactive.

10.Term & termination

Either of us may end this partnership at any time, for any reason, with no penalty. On termination we may deactivate your partner page and revoke the brand license. Commissions validly earned before termination will still be paid out through Whop, subject to the standard hold and any reversals.

11.Independent relationship

You participate as an independent party. Nothing here creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship, and you may not represent otherwise or make commitments on our behalf.

12.Disclaimers & liability

The Program is provided “as is,” with no guarantee of any particular earnings or results. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability relating to the Program will not exceed the commissions paid to you in the three months before the claim.

13.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. Continuing to participate after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

14.Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in or serving Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo County, California.
