Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 5, 2026 • Adam Loves Guitar, LLC
This Privacy Policy explains what information Adam Loves Guitar, LLC ("ALG," "we," "us") collects on adamlovesguitar.com and its subdomains (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
- Information you provide: name and email when you join our newsletter, take the Fretboard Challenge, apply for the Method, register for a workshop, or contact support; billing details when you purchase (processed by our payment processors — we do not store full card numbers); responses you submit in quizzes, applications, and community spaces.
- Information collected automatically: device and browser data, pages visited, and interaction data via cookies and similar technologies, including analytics and advertising pixels (such as the Meta Pixel) that help us measure and improve our marketing.
- Quiz and assessment results: your Fretboard Challenge score and tier, used to personalize the recommendations and emails you receive.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To deliver the products you purchase: course access, membership content, live session links, and support.
- To send you emails you've requested — lesson content, recommendations based on your quiz results, product updates, and offers. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To process payments, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
- To measure and improve the Site and our advertising (e.g., understanding which pages and campaigns perform).
3. Cookies & Advertising Pixels
The Site uses cookies and pixels — including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and analytics tools — to remember preferences, measure traffic, and show relevant ads on third-party platforms. You can control cookies through your browser settings and through the Site's cookie consent banner. You can opt out of personalized ads via your platform settings (e.g., Facebook Ad Preferences).
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, under their own privacy obligations:
- Our website, CRM, and email platform (which hosts our forms, member communications, and automations)
- Payment processors for purchases and subscriptions
- Our merchandise store platform (Fourthwall) for merch orders
- Video and community platforms used to deliver content (e.g., embedded video players)
- Advertising and analytics partners as described in Section 3
- Authorities, if required by law
5. Your Choices & Rights
- Email: unsubscribe from marketing at any time via the link in any email.
- Access & deletion: you may request a copy of your personal data, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing us. We honor applicable rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and, where applicable, the GDPR.
- Cookies: manage via your browser and our consent banner.
6. Data Retention & Security
We retain your information while your account or subscription is active and as needed for legal and accounting purposes, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (including SSL encryption) to protect your data; no method of transmission is 100% secure.
7. Children
The Site and our products are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. International Visitors
We operate from the United States. If you access the Site from elsewhere, you consent to your information being processed in the United States.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, will always be posted on this page.
